CARAMEL MOUNT – A sip of sunshine

There is a moment when morning doesn’t just begin — it opens. When the first sip of coffee is not just caffeine, but a memory. A scent. Home. Caramel Mount was created for moments like these — this is not just coffee, but a story held in your hands, born from the red soil of Brazil.

This coffee was raised on a farm where they don’t just produce — they pay attention. They don’t just work — they live, together with the soil, the forest, the wind, and the birds. Morada da Prata is not a factory, but a legacy. Knowledge passed down through generations, where the shade of every tree and every bee circling a shrub represents balance.

Caramel Mount is a microlot: rare and unrepeatable. Just as a great jazz solo is played only once in exactly the same way, this coffee is a one-time experience. Notes of caramel and citrus don’t compete — they dance together, soft and fresh like the morning sunlight on the edge of your window. A coffee that doesn’t shout, but whispers — in a way you’ll never forget.

This is not just specialty coffee — it’s a finely composed message: that there is still slowness, care, and real flavor in the world. You just have to pay attention. Or take a sip.

FAZENDA MORADA DA PRATA – The heart of Brazilian coffee, where even the land tells a story

The story of the Morada da Prata farm is not just about an estate — it is a family legacy that has nurtured and shaped the land for three generations, while giving the world ever more refined coffees.

The farm was founded in 1936 by Plinio Adams, later carried forward by his daughter Maria Helena, and in 2010 leadership was taken over by his grandson, Arnaldo Adams Ribeiro Pinto. He was the one who brought new momentum: shifting the focus to specialty coffees, with an emphasis on quality and sustainability.

The estate covers 456 hectares, of which around 150 hectares are coffee plantations. The remaining land is home to sugarcane fields, pastures, eucalyptus forests, and protected native Atlantic rainforest. These green zones are not only valuable from a conservation perspective, but also help maintain a balanced microclimate — serving as habitats for large wild animals and rare plant species.

The soil is exceptionally rich: red and red/yellow latosol with high clay content — ideal for coffee plants. These natural conditions are paired with the farm’s regenerative agricultural practices, which since 2016 have consciously reduced chemical use, nourish the land with locally produced organic compost, and plant vegetation that attracts beneficial insects, giving the coffee natural protection.

Morada da Prata is not just a farm — it is a living habitat where coffee doesn’t simply grow, it is born. Pure, ethical, and rich in flavor — like everything that is truly good.

What is microlot coffee?

Microlot coffee is grown, harvested, and processed in very small batches, carefully selected from a unique section of a specific farm.

Characteristics of microlots:

  • They are produced in small quantities, often as just a few bags per lot.
  • They come from a special growing area where the conditions (soil, microclimate, terrain) result in exceptional quality.
  • They undergo selective processing — every step is carried out with careful attention.
  • They have a unique sensory profile and are often rated with a high SCA score.

A microlot is not a mass product, but the result of careful quality selection — behind every single batch stand expertise, terroir, and character.
